Certification’s Equivalences

In the US, PAS 68 is compared to the K12,K8,K4 standards, which are now replaced by the new ASTM standards.

Class K4 :

Equivalent to : stops a vehicle of 7500kg at a speed of 50km/h

Class K8 :

Equivalent to : stops a vehicle of 7500kg at a speed of 65km/h

Class K12 :

Equivalent to : stops a vehicle of 7500kg at a speed of 80km/h

TRAFFIC FIXED BOLLARDS

TRAFFIC SEMI-AUTOMATIC BOLLARDS

EGITS traffic semi-automatic bollards are a perfect solution for effective vehicle access control a power supply is unavailable. The semi-automatic bollards have an inbuilt gas spring mechanism which is locked in the retracted position and rise rapidly when released. For easier use the semi-automatic EGITS drill driven bollards are designed for use where a power supply is unavailable. Operation of the bollard is via a battery drill to raise or lower the bollard. A complete and independent solution the semi-automatic bollards require manual operation for opening or closing. K4 HIGH SECURITY AUTOMATIC BOLLARDS

ASTM ROAD BLOCKERS

PAS68 high security Road Blockers offer the highest level of vehicle anti ramming protection. Engineered and designed to prevent unauthorised access of vehicles to a secured area, this equipment has been tested to withstand high speed impact from heavy goods vehicles. This range of EGITS road blockers has successfully passed crash test and certified according to ASTM F2656-07, M50, P1 (-2,4m) and ASTM F2656-07, M30, P1 (-2,1m). Developed by engineers with extensive knowledge and experience within this field, this type of wedge barrier offers maximum security with installation simplicity, easy service, reliability, durability, and multi functionality. PAS68/K4/K12 ROAD BLOCKERS

Ultra shallow road blockers were designed to protect the perimeter. This road blocker can stop truck of 7 500 kg (7,5 t) mass driving at 80 kph (50 mph) speed. This is confirmed by successfully passed tests BSI PAS 68:2013 and IWA 14-1:2013. Such road blocker fully meets the requirements for the protection of highly classified objects.

Being 950 mm height ultra shallow mounted road blocker (7,5t@80kph) has mounting depth of 200 mm. The completely innovative design of this lock allows you to combine its main anti-ram function with the simplicity and high speed of installation.

AUTOMATIC TIRE-KILLER

EGITS Automatic Tire-Killers are an economical and efficient solution for vehicle access control management. Available in a range of configurations this product can be surface mounted or within a shallow pit.

Offering one or two directional driveway control and spikes of varied lengths. The diversity of options enables this traffic barrier to be widely applicable for a multitude of different applications.

The built-in hydraulic unit makes this product suitable for installations in severe climate conditions, as well as for projects which require large distances (up to 100 m) between the PLC and the blocking segment. Product specifications and complete sets may differ from that shown on the photo.

MECHANICAL TIRE-KILLER

EGITS mechanical Tire-Killers are an ideal solution for vehicle access control when a power supply is unavailable. EGITS offer two types of such devices: spring loaded or lever drive. In the first case the spikes always remain raised and one direction free to pass. The lever operated tire killers provide three operation modes: spikes up and blocked to both directions, spikes down and blocked, spikes up and free to one direction.

Available in a variety of blocking widths and spike lengths (standard 80 mm or 170 mm), as well optional installation configurations: surface / above ground or submerged to ground level.

HIGH SECURITY SPEED BUMPS

high security Speedbumps has been manufactured and tested to withstand and protect against vehicle ramming. It was tested and certified according to ASTM F2656/F2656-15 and IWA14-1:2013 standards. Offering the user, a surface mounted or a shallow installation provides rapid deployment and reduced costs as minimal civil works are required.

The standard delivery set includes the blocking segment a separate control box with HPU and PLC, connection cable, power/oil hoses, and push button control unit. A range of accessories is available to ensure continuous operation in severe weather and environment conditions.
